Having just turned 60, I'm a bit in reminiscing mode remembering halcyon days in the - oh, lemme see, some time in the 19...80's? 90's? You were performing in the "Rattlesnake Saloon" (yup, that was/is the name of this country joint in the outskirts of Munich, Germany) - and I had the pleasure to witness your concert there which has been an unforgettable event until today! I love country music and was brought along by American friends and we had such a wonderful time! I remember you playing/kicking the piano keys with your boots and in the break when you signed the CD I bought ("The Boots I Came to Town With" - it has cheered me up many times since!) you told me you loved the heavily fringed black & brown suede leather jacket I wore for the occasion (purchased in Houston, Tx a couple weeks earlier when visiting my brother who lives there). Oh well. Just browsing through your website brought back fond memories of a lovely, unforgettable evening and when I saw there's a guestbook, I thought, hey, I'd just say hi! All the best f

She was also my great grandmother (7th) I grew up my whole life hearing about her and I am still learning more to this day. My great grand mother was Amy Benge Starr and my grand mother Bluie Starr. I live over seas but with my husband but we also have a home in NM. Hi Becky. I've been a broadcaster in Australia for over 59 years and since the late 60's became fairly involved in 'country' music. Whilst on air at station in Canberra I used to flog your music and did similarly whilst on Sydney's 2UE for 18 years. Now retired I do a once weekly show, "Kerr's Country" every Friday night at 7.00.
