Wow it is an honor to be able to comment you on your website. You have been a really big inspiration for me for a while now. My passion is sculpting and creating visually interesting creatures but as ugly and gross as possible. My dream is to one day take classes with you to reinforce my knowledge and reach the top of the latter of all the professionals like you. Hope to meet you some day in class. Hi Alex! I am a CG Generalist student but lately I've wanted to dive deeper into 3D modeling. I noticed you use Maya for quite a few of your projects. Alex, Can't find your email address, so I thought i'd start here. I have a request for you. I have been trying to refine my pipeline for building a golf course. I wasted too much time in VUE xStream and have decided to do it in Maya, 3Dcoat, Mudbox and Speed Tree. Your Grass techniques are second to none! Finally I have found a guru that can show me to do this with Physical Sun and Sky and Mia Materials using Instancing. I am very appreciative of your course on this topic. I bought Grass and Plant Instancing, and Gnomon Tree Creation, two of your 4 part course. In the Grass and Plant Instancing video, you use a SCRIPT called DIVIDIR,, which maps to grass objects, and creates 3x3 UV maps, if the polycount is the same for each object. Mate, I can't find this script on the download. Neither in project files or anywhere else. Would you be so kind to email me this script. I can't complete your tutorials without it, and I can't find

Hey I was just interested in what you thought of Blender. I am a big fan of your work and would love to attend the Gnomon school, but logistically I can't. I do how ever pick up a tut from the Workshop when I can. Anyway, Blender is what I use for modeling, and just wanted to know your opinion of how it stacks to Maya, since its open source and Free.

Hi, Really interesting to read through your website. I was really interested in 3D and stuff related to it. Hello, Alex. Your history has been the very inspiration and example to me. I have 33 years, I have a degree in Computer Science and since I knew the Gnomon and you I decided to change my destiny. I enrolled in the Saga in Sao Paulo - Brazil, I'm studying computer graphics. I desire to follow in this area and since then chase a dream, becoming an artist. Now I can say that I am happy.
