Comments Despite all the difficult terms you introduce, I agree that something from the heart has been neglected in the west's laborsome overuse of natural resources. My best wishes to those who believe that enough people will change fast enough to avert unprecedented eco-socio- devestations. I have hope to live a nurturing life in a rural locality, and simplify family consumption to mostly local products. Often I want to just sit like Buddha and be still....but I cannot even do that for long. I believe in Jesus Christ but take no comfort in heaven. I love how Jesus lived, rebuked the powerful, loved the unloved, and wept and died without taking human life or ac #$@%! property or power. To visit most American churches and hear the mixture of nationalism, classism, arrogance and militarism mixed in with their vows of loving the Jesus that i also love; is discouraging. But then I meet the individuals with the genuine being that is simply loving, and they shine light in the midst of darkness! I turn to a journey toward a simpler lifestyle,

Comments I have been on a similar path as you when it comes to nurture. To date, I believe that the way we nurture our children is the key to what we have on Earth. It occurs to me that we blindly trample our children's' emotions to the points of many levels of psychological pathologies. In short, we don't know how to love our children properly and this results in numerous perversions in life. Your words describing Nurturome say much about what I have been trying to put into words about parental nurturing over several years. It's not easy to convey these ideas, especially when so many people have their own ideas rationalizing what they see and experience in life.
