Comments On July 12, 2012, I arranged to have Sherry and Ann take me and four friends on a guided ride through the Sierras and it was truly one of the most memorable rides I have EVER been on. My BFF hauled all the way from Huntington Beach and I really wanted to show her what rides are in my "backyard" and what better way than to have the co-authors plan and guide our ride. Ann and Sherry's hospitality, knowledge of the area(including pertinent history), and their friendly and passionate personalities sincerely made this one of the best equine experiences I could've ever dreamed of for both myself and my friends! If you are in the area and would like to explore the trails, I highly recommend you contact the experts, Sherry and Ann, and have them take you on a guided ride that will be filled with history, fun, and memories you will remember for the rest of your life! Comments Well written and easy to follow trail instructions. Fish Camp was tricky with all of the off shoot trails. We might have deviated from the suggested route, but ended up where we were supposed to.

Comments I was googling "Trails near Fresno" and came across this wonderful site. I am new to this area and am unfamiliar with any of the trails. Your information and pictures have been EXCELLENT in steering me in the right direction. We're planning on making a trip this weekend to check out our first trail! I see that you've also got a book, which I will definitely be looking in to as well. :) I'm not sure if this is already on the site, but is there a link to trail groups in this area? I would be interested in finding others to ride with. Right now, its just my husband and me. Thanks again for a wonderful website. Exactly what I needed to boost my confidence about going trail riding in a new area.

Comments Sherry, I cannot tell you how wonderful our trip was! Thank you SO MUCH for all your help and your book. Without them, I don't think this trip would have been possible. While the Glacier Pt. Trail distance was a long ride for me and Rodney, I found the technical aspect relatively moderate. Of course, the steep part where you recommend walking (AND WE DID!) was terrifying the first time, but not so much on the return trip. It is amazing how experiencing a trail for the first time can make you hyper-aware! As you said, the views were spectacular and I am so glad we made the trip to see Half Dome. It was truly, truly a ride of a life time! I certainly hope to ride it again next year, and hope to enjoy it even more. THANKS! Mona
