The day I walked in the door of this place I was eating Tramadol like candy! It completely over took every part of my life. I found out about RMC through a local friend and it was the best move I could of made. I've read all these negative comment on here and it just makes me think that these people either dont want to be clean or think everything in life should be handed to them. I'm a firm believer in your gunna get out of something g what you put into it. The day I walked through hos doors I knew I wanted to get clean and wasn't gunna let anyone or anybody get in my way of achieving my goal. Now 8 years later I'm still clean with zero relapses! I've never dropped dirty not once!! The staff have all been very kind to me but I also show respect and act like an adult. In reply to the other 2 or 3 posts I've seen about the methadone being messed with it is very obvious it's happening there was a worker gone for a couple weeks and I was fine now he's back and I'm back to feeling like I' ve not even dosed trying to find someone like the dr,Tina,hell even a counselor to talk to is a joke I'm ready to be outta this hell hole this isn't help at all seems like they don't care to help and this isn't the first time a worker has stolen the methadone a lot needs to change

I and several others have been noticing that our methadone has been tampered with for a few months now too and it seems it gets worse every week to the point we are dope sick I have not had this happen in a long time. Funny someone was gone all week and the methadone was actually not watered and we felt as if we just started taking it for the first time again, I couldn't stay awake or function that's what this person is doing to us messing our bodies up badly please get rid of the problem back there and it's not Chris or cindy!

A few of us clients feel that someone is tampering with the methadone. Everyone is afraid to speak up. But sometimes we don't even feel our doses, we shouldn't be feeling sick we are on high enough doses and never had a problem until the past 3 months or so it just keeps getting worse. We like all the staff but we feel one guy has everyone fooled and is being extremely sneaky and smooth, also feel he's trying to set another nurse up in case someone catches on back there we also feel he set up a nurse who was fired not 100 percent on that one but we r just to the point we want tabs bc those can't be messed with. Can you plz keep a real close eye on things. He could be going behind the camera or if his backs to it idk but think methadone gets taken from the bottles and water added.

Dr Rose and lots of his staff are good people but some of the so called "counselors" don't give a crap about you, your health, or your recovery. They seem to forget they are their to HELP the people who need to go there. They try to bully you and tell you what you can and can't do. They definitely don't put the patients first. PHILL!!! They absolutely don't take COVID19 seriously. They make their patients show up every day to get their medication creating unnecessary crowds. They have no PPE, sanitation, or social distancing. They have people working there who think COVID19 is a joke! If you want to go to a rehab clinic without being afraid of getting sick and you want to be treated like a human being, go to East Peoria clinic. Their unimaginably disgusting and inhumane actions forced me to switch clinics and file a class action lawsuit. Go somewhere else. Don't make the same mistake i did.

I had been going to the clinic for years. I have learned in the years attending that they don't give a shit about you getting clean. They would rather see you back on drugs then to get better. Coming to Dr.Rose was one of the smartest decisions i made! His treatment without a doubt saved my life, saved my marriage and has given me back my life! My life today is as it was before i took my first pain pill for an operation i had on my shoulder, I'm back to being the loving father and husband along with money in my wallet, i could list many more things but i think everyone gets the idea! Dr.Rose saved me and put a smile back on my face,since December 13th give or take a day,of 2014, when i first walked into Rose Medical, i got my life back! Thanks Dr. Rose, thank you so much sir!!

I have yet to actually experience this clinic yet but will be going in tomorrow morning at 6am for intake into their suboxone program. I had previously been put on suboxone by my pain specialist after I told him in tears I was done with the pills. He gave me no info on this drug he just whipped out his script pad and said take this twice a day. No compassion ..nothing. then I was treated even more like junkie by him and his staff at my next 3 appts. After my medical card ran out I decided to stop going and to buy my subs off of the street. Considering 1 8mg strip could last me almost a week I didn't have much trouble finding them until recently, and now have had to revert back to Vicodin and tramadol to get me through. I feel like with places like this you have to go in with a end in sight, common sense tells you that these places make money off of the drugs they distribute, if they get everyone off said drug then they in turn don't make money. Dr Rose and his councelors definitely helped me and ultimately SAVED MY LIFE! I have successfully weened off after 4 yrs....without their guidance the last 4 years I would not have the tools and mental health to get and stay clean. It's not for everybody and yes many people abuse it but if you are ready to get clean and take full advantage of their meetings and work with your councelors you can get your life back! I will be forever grateful to Dr Rose and my councelor!! ❤

In regards to Brian's comment, Nice place? Ha! What a joke! You were just one of the many brown nosers who would like and say whatever necessary to get what you wanted. I do believe you had a code 6? Meaning everyday you had to come. That place is full of liars and hipocrites. The director hides in her office avoiding her responsibilities. They allow unethical, illegal shit to go down in the parking lot. Confidentiality is non existent which is violation of so many laws. I am even guilty of buying take homes right inside that hell hole. The only good thing I can say is the compassion I received from one nurse I will keep nameless. This program has saved my life. Dr. Rose is a very competent doctor who understands and can read his patients. When I first called Phil was able to get me an intke appointment on a day they do not do intakes. During my first several weeks when they are trying to find the correct dose too keep you stable and comfortable Dr. Rose was able too figure out that I was scared and he stopped my dose at the right amount. Since getting the correct dose and sticking to the plan that Dr. Rose, my counselor Rushmi, and myself setup I have been able too retake control of my life. Thank you and God bless Dr. Rose and his amazing staff.

also if you do decide to get on the methadone program make sure you're not one of those people that want to be a lifer there's clean and then there's substitution if you are on methadone for more than six months you're more than likely going to be a lifer and in my opinion that's what dr. I want to this place for two years and yes anytime you have a problem he just says maybe you need more methadone I asked for almost a whole year to be starting to drop and then I had to take my mother in there and my DCFS caseworker got involved finally the only reason I did get detoxed was because they didn't tell me my bill was over $500 and I couldn't afford it and he could care less that I was sick afterwards I really feel like he cars Mir about money than the actual clients

For all the people who have put bad comments on here are some of the people who are always mad and never happy. Let me tell you this place it excellent. There are so many people that take advantage of this place and dick the counclers around. You never get a code because you never test clean. Your always mad if the doors are opened one minute late. I mean give me a break. They are trying to help them and you treat them like shit. No wonder you think the people there dont like you because they pry don't! Also people think 70 bucks a week is so expensive. Common! You would send that and more a day doing smack. Do everyone a favor and when your there sit down shut up get your dose and be nice to everyone. They are doing you a favor!

I have guest dosed around the country and have to say this methadone clinic is one of the best. I have guest dosed here multiple times and there is never a wait. They moved to a much nicer facility a few years ago and their staff is always kind, even when the paperwork on my end is not done correctly or not filled out right by my staff. There are never shady people lurking around outside asking for cigs or dealing and Peoria is a beautiful city. Every patient likes to complain, but I am here to tell you that you have it made if you go to this clinic compared to many others. The nurses and staff are super nice.

Dr. Rose, In theary your program should work but from what I've seen from family members - you NEvER wean people off. You are their new "legal" drug dealer. Do you have any idea what Methodone is doing to babies born to mom's on this drug? They suffer horribly - it can take up to 60 days to get them clean. You need to educate women about the hell their newborn babies endure. Make it part of your program - for men and women - from their first visit and especially for a pregnant woman. I work at the Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria. We see many drug addicted babies and have video's that we could provide to you of babies going through redrawal. Perhaps that would be enough to turn these women around. Please help us help these innocent babies.
