We are blessed to be able to visit your beautiful church. We planned a trip to San Juan and my father said he was baptized at "Out Lady of Mercy" so I looked at his baptismal and yes he was baptized there in Mercedes. Although the church was not open when we went it was wonderful for us to see the church grounds and take some pictures. Thank you

I am here for the stock show. Last weekend the priest mentioned that the church was open during the day for prayer visit. But I went during the week and was closed. The office person mentioned the church was only opened for mass or events. Is there a way to keep it open for a little while during the day, like around noon / lunch hours. Also why do the priest still keeps the horrible black mask on during the sacred part of the mass.

I performed my First Communion and was Confirmed at OLM. Such a beautiful church in such a beautiful city! Back in 1992 I began playing alto saxophone with the 9:00 a.m. choir, which at the time was led by Sister Anne Marie Mangette and Sister Eveline Hug. Mr. Martell and a few others sang in the chorus and we made wonderful sounds praising the Lord! So many good memories from OLM.
