When I first heard you in 2000 on the radio in GA doing "Mannish Boy" live in Lincoln, Nebraska; I almost lost my mind! I have been trying to find that cd ever since. I even e-mailed the radio station; and they can't help me. Please tell me where I can get that. Bill, I had the great pleasure of seeing you and your band at the Hickory Smoked Blues on July 26, 2003 in Owego, NY. What a fabulous performance !!!! Not having seen your band in the, past I was amazed at the passion, intensity and musicianship you and your band displayed during your set. You and your band were, in my mind, by far the highlight of the entire festival that day. Bill: I recently read somewhere that you were going to hang up the guitar, that you feel you've done what you set out to do. I hope what I read isn't true. I remember buying "Son Also Rises" when it was first released and saw you that same year with Bob Margolin at The Yale in Vancouver Canada. I've been a fan ever since, and have subsequently picked up both of your other albums and had the pleasure of seeing you twice more, once at the Burnaby Blues Festival, and again at The Yale in Vancouver. I believe you're destined to continue on as a bluesman, following your blood line, your heritage. You are very good now, and I can just imagine how much better you will be in 5, 10, 15 years down the road. I know it's not an easy way to make a living, but I hope that you will seriously consider carrying on just as you put it in your website, "My guitar is my torch, my soul carries the flame. Make no mistake, I'm a true Bluesman." I hope to see another album in the near future, and more opportunities to see you "live" eit

Hello Big Bill. I saw your show in Ottawa Canada on May 2. You and your band were great! Glad to see that you are carrying on the tradition. One thing I noticed was how the show did not seem to be promoted, and therefore the "crowd" was small. It was great for us (great view/sound), but I felt bad for the band for not having a bigger and louder audience. If you come back here (we hope), better give the local people promoting the show a kick in the pants! Note that the ottawa bluesfest is in July!
