Comments Ron's place,Deep Water Landing, is a hidden jewell. The accomodations are perfect for a river vacation. Ron was a great fellow to work with. His description of river house, cabins, and RV hookups are correct. I've fished and stayed in a cabin. I am a satisfied custome. I intend to stay at river house next time and stay longer. I hope to retire soon and use Ron's accomodation more often.

Comments We spent a weekend at the Rustic Cabin and loved it. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the place. Our cabin was perfect and as advertised, no surprises there! Ron is very accommodating and provided everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and then left us alone to enjoy our private retreat. We enjoyed a clean cabin and a relaxing weekend on the river! I would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone. If you want a lifetime memory of beauty and tranquility, this is the place to go! Remember this is a rustic cabin, a step above camping, be prepared and enjoy! (We enjoyed it so much; we are planning on going back for Labor Day!)

Comments This is was my first experience staying out in a secluded woody area in the middle of nowhere!!! To say the least I had many reservations about staying with a group of female friends for a weekend of fun. However, after speaking with Ron on the phone and arriving to the River House that was fully equipped with jazz music playing in the background, all of my fears and concerns melted away. This is pure nature and relaxation with a hint of jazz and a country twist! I had a wonderful experience; I loved the peace and quietness of the woods and the beautiful view of the Satilla River behind the house. My other friend says the trees in the park were beautiful especially with the wind blowing. The area is a nature trail, and my friends were able to walk and jog the area. We all felt very safe and at home. If you love nature you will be very happy. The price is right and the owners are very helpful and hospitable. The pictures of the River House are accurate and there were no surprises, it was clean and neat. This private River House nestle

Comments PART 2- I wasn't finished !! This private River House nestled by the Satilla River was fully equipped with everything a house needs, it didn’t distract from the rustic decorum of the rooms. It is a true gem an ideal retreat for the tired and weary. The owners really thought of everything to make a vacation enjoyable, from quietly reading in the living room, or taking in the sites of the river. It is nicely situated with only being a 1hr. and 30 min. from Savannah, Ga. We were able to go in to Savannah for a night of fun and return with no problems. My friends and I were so impressed we will be using this location on a regular basis. Do to the area, however, please bring mosquito repellant. Overall, it was a great getaway and we give this rental property an A +.

Comments I went with three of my friends. We had a wonderful time there at the river house. It is truly away from the city, but that is what I needed. Its only about 1 and half hour away from Savannah which we were able to go and enjoy and come back with no problems.It was just comfortable and the jazz Ron had in the background when we walked in was soothing.It is situated by the river of which I loved but didnt get a chance to fish in. However because it was so wonderful and the price was right and Ron and was very hospitable and helpful, I'm pretty sure we will be going back. Ron is very accomadating and respectful. One of my friends and I went walking and jogging and it was breathtaking and relaxing.We felt at home. Recommend having bugspay and straighttalk.But a wonderful place to come.

Comments Had great time. Quiet and peaceful camping. River and campground clean. Ron, the owner was super nice person and was courteous. I would suggest giving a try over busier areas. Prices are very reasonable.

Comments AN AWESOME TREAT in a society we live. Yes! A wonderful Change of Pace. The service and accomodations that was provided from "The Easton" was excellent. The cabin was very clean, attention to every detail! We enjoyed Complimentary jazz music and grilling of steaks, ribs, chicken and hotdogs. To truthfully say " Very hospitable, they took such good care of us and made sure that we had everything we needed to make our Special Getaway exactly what we wanted! We will definately be back and feels everyone should give it a try at least one time for a Georgia Getaway, Stress Getaway or Romantic Getaway. You will leave knowing your money was well spent. The kitchen was so emaculate clean with a wide variety of cookware, storage containers, and small appliances, including toaster, can opener, microwave, mixer, and coffee maker. Make yourself right at home with a full size oven and refrigerator! Needless to say, Sleep peacefully in the three bedrooms with their clean cotton sheets on queen,full and twin size mattresses in rustic log bed

Comments Deep Bend Landing is a wonderful place to get away and return to nature! A quiet, comfortable private nature refuge was my experience. Wild Turkey, Red shouldered hawk, Pileated wood pecker, eagle, Swallow tail kite, otter, deer, ... Ron makes sure you have what you want, while respecting privacy. I went for one month to bolster my health and stayed for two months! Truly a healthy, fun retreat. Thank you, Ron!

Comments I have stayed at Deep Bend Landing four times and I have always been pleased. The cabins are rustic, and that is what exactly what I like about it. It is a great getaway for me. Staying there reminds me a lot of a trip to the Okefenokee swamp. The access to the river is perfect. In fact staying at the fish camp cabin, I was able to sit on the front porch and view the river right outside. Ron is an excellent proprietor! I'll be back soon.

Comments We stayed for 3 nights in the Vacation Cabin for our 2 year anniversary and loved every minute of it. The accomidations are clean and neat, Mr. Ron is so friendly and helpful, and we were even able to bring our dogs, which was such a bonus for us! It is such a quiet and peaceful place! We will definitely go back without a doubt!
