I was born in Wenatchee, Washington in the mid 60's among the Salish Nation. I recently had a dream of a ceremony where I was given an egg in its shell. I was told to open the shell. I cracked the egg and out spilled the egg with an orange-red yolk. Raven and the South Wind laughed and said this was my name in Salish... But they told me to search it in their/my native tongue... They only said that in the tongue I have been taught, my name means "duck egg". I only hope to ask if you would let me know what "duck egg" is in Salish...
