The "Kiemle" that I have a record for is Friedrich Kiemle my Great-Great-Grandfather, born in Beihingen, Germany on April 24, 1847. He died on December 11, 1909 in Bosnien, Yugoslavia. His wife was Christine Kayser also born in Beihingen on January 18, 1846. She passed on April 15, 1885. I obtained this information from relatives in Germany when we visited my uncle in Neunkirchen. I am related to Michael who must be my cousins Walter or Willy Kiemle's son.

Your site was very helpful in filling in some gaps in our family tree. We are descendents of Katharina Barbara Kemle (b.1809) who is my 5th Great Grandmother, and of course her father, Johann Georg Kiemle (b.1783) who is my 6th Great Grandfather. Our line stayed in Mramorak Yugosalvia until after WWII and then came to the US in 1952 (Great Grandfather) and 1957 (father). I am 1st generation born in the US. Enjoyed reading the biographies as well.

I finally got to sit down with my grandma Tootsie and look at the website. She saw the pictures of Johanna Kemle (Scholler). She did not know her by Johanna, but by "Hanniganz" (I'm not sure if this is spelled correctly). Is that a picture of Fritzie Kemle next to Helen Boese?
