I spotted your work on Flickr and enjoyed it so came to your site. Your story is very uplifting. I have been sick for about 5 years with a rare blood disease that destroyed my kidneys. My wonderful 19 yr. old son gave me one of his kidney's 5 months ago. I am feeling so good and am really getting into oil painting again. I am painting my Border Collies now. Wheelchair basketball (I hate to say in your younger years because your not that old) and now with your art work. Hi Carolyn Anne, I guess your middle name was not known to me before I saw it on your web site today. It is close to your Mother's name, Charlotte Anne.... and mine which is also Charlotte Ann. It's curious that I didn't know your middle name was Anne because we knew of your birth, your growing up years, and your accident in pictures and stories every single year. In fact, your Mom was our first baby sitter when she was 12 years old. Your Grandpa and Grandmother Tesberg were our faithful friends for many years. By now you are wondering who I am and rightly so. My late husband was the Lutheran pastor at the church where your Mom was confirmed and married. And knowing your Mom you will believe that she has not forgotten my birthday in maybe close to 50 years!! She is one exceptional lady!. And now I see she has one (no doubt 2) exceptional daughters.
