Comments 12/21/10 I have a couple of questions ,I'm doing a shower 5'x40" with a small wall & bench .I need to install blocking still drain is moved but on the drain flange can i use a plastic one or does it need to be metal?

Comments Jamisen Your shower pan looks great. I have been surfing the internet and not found anything comparable. I am retired from the family business that repaired leaky showers so I know what I'm talking about. Since retirement I have devoted much time to developing patents related to leaky showers. My patents consist of a support structure design that would require a shower pan installation like yours. My patents are still for sale. If you know of any tile or cultured marble/solid surface companies interested in a support structure design that will not leak even before caulk or groun is installed, please have them contact me. Comments I hired one of your contractors to do some work for my daughter in Costa Mesa, Ca. The work was poor quality and I got another contractor instead. The contractor was "In Touch Tile" owned my Carlos Esparza. Lic #722088. Carlos agreed to give me back half of my $900.00 deposit. We agreed that this was fair. This was July 2014 and despite all my efforts to collect the $450.00 from him, I have not received it, he won't answer or return my calls, and I am now looking into legal action against him. Is this the type of contractors you want to recommend to your clients? I am extremely disappointed in his lack of honesty and ethics. Could you please have him call me or mail me a check to 16329 E. Comments Hello, my drywaller stepped full force onto my finished hot mopped pan flange that has a Ebbe (e4400?) square plastic riser. I heard what sounded like a snap, is it possible that the hot mopped pan/flange snapped and broke the seal? Or is it more likely the Ebbe plastic riser made the snapping noise. I can't tell if the riser cracked without removing it...thoughts? Can I test for damage?
