Comments My Physician Assistant program:(Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Roanoke, VA)sends students down to Seven Mile Ford/Saltville nearly every month as a community medicine rotation. The students that try the infamous Dip Dogs always rave that you haven't had a true rotational experience until you've tried a Dip Dog. Well, I finally tried it! Now I generally don't care for corn dogs, but these were DELICIOUS! The batter was so light and crispy and the service was courteous and even the other patrons were so friendly, chatting about their love of the mighty dip dog! :) Thanks for a neat experience and for a great dog!

Comments My granparents used to live in Atkins. When we would go visit, if we were well behaved we got a trip to the Dip Dog stand. So we were always good. My grandparents have been gone for some time now, but I still drive down at least every three months for a Dip Dog fix. I have brought my friends and family from Roanoke with me and they are hooked as well. Dip Dogs are the best, no mere corn dog comes close.

Comments We at at Dip Dog in August 2009 and LUVD them! My dad grew up on Whitetop and we visited one of my aunts who took us to Dip Dog. We are planning on taking another visit to the South this summer and we will definitely stop at Dip Dog...now if I could just remember to take a photo of my boyz w/the bumper sticker so they could be on the wall when we come that would be wonderful!
