El- So glad I came back to the site at your suggestion---great stuff!!! I have to say that some of the new additions, specifically the Bearded Iris in Rust, the Orange Hibiscus,and the Red Anthirium are among my favorites. As for the Whimsical Artwork, LOVE IT!

Such an impressive body of work. Ellen, you have such a way of bringing your blossoms to life through your illumination that is truly beautiful! For example "Lotus Bloom" just pops off of your canvas. I feel that your paintings not only portray the beauty of the blooms, but that which lies within you as a person. here I am at my computer. on the wall in front of me is the pink cattleya orchid you painted. each day as I sit here, the orchid looks as if it is starting to open all over again. the pinks and purples of the flower and the white petals around it are so gentle, so peaceful. it is the ultimate vision of 1 of God's creations.
