Comments Way cool! Unfortunately it is well beyond my current financial capability, but still a very nice design. Simply knowing products such as yours are out there, even if I can't afford them at the moment, makes me feel better about my chances of actually getting back into the woods one day. My only worry would be that a malfunction might send it crashing back to the ground (I was originally injured in a fall, so I'm a bit paranoid about leaving the ground), although I would imagine that's something that's been prepared for.

Comments 100%+ Disabled by VA standards, multiple IED ambush, Khost Afghanistan, July 2006. lots of time at Walter Reed, Lots of time at the TBI center Minneapolis, Have recovered well, can still bowhunt! had to change from right to left hand due to loss of vision in right eye. injuries include: Loss of vision R. eye, 2 seperate Traumatic Brain Injuries, Fracture neck, Fracture lower Back, shatered left arm, shattered left leg, shattered R. Jaw, and a few otheres that escape my memory right now. anyways, I am looking for hunting opportunities in different parts of the country. Let me know if you have something with your group and we'll discuss what the logistics would be. I am a very avid bow shooter, have returned to shooting league 1 night a week and have dropped to average shooting but still not bad. Am deadly out to 40 yds. I am limited mobile, I can walk up to a 1/2 mile (just takes a long time) and my wife usually accompanies me due to my physical limits, etc. Hope to hear back from you and your organization! Stu Kuehl

Comments Nice! I designed a ladder stand years ago that was based on a stand called the Wright stand. If you have researched handicap deer stands I'm sure you came across it. A guy from Louisiana was making them. I designed mine because he couldn't deliver before deer season. I am a Civil Engineering tech and use AutoCad to draw so I decided to draw my own. A friend on mine and his employer actually stared manufacturing and selling them for a $1000 to $1200. I have their prototype in my back yard. It's a tripod style stand and goes up about 16'. Mine is a ladder style and also goes up 16'. The other guys have built them to go as high as 20'. My stand is very portable as it will fold in half. I can tow it with a 4 wheeler. It takes minutes to set up. The lifting mechanism is an ATV winch. I have a control box and remote to raise and lower it. I have to say its really sweet to hunt in the air. I have shot a lot of deer from it. Keep up the good work and good luck with sales.
