As long as we remember the distinctions that ought to be drawn between what we like and what we think we ought to like then we'll preserve our sense of proportion and humour. Wine is there, like food, to be enjoyed; an occasion for relaxation. If we're going to worry about it then we'd be better off putting the corckscrew back in the drawer.

We visited over Memorial Day weekend. What a lovely place and great Norton Reserve! Wish you had the Almond Tree Red... Maybe later or next time. We live in KS so you cannot ship to us. Too bad! Please put us on your mailing list. We would love to hear from you! We very much enjoyed seeing the filters and talking with Nick! Tell him we agree about Oak Glen. What a commercial operation, we will never return there! They charged us for tasting! I will not buy wine that I have not tasted unless it is recommended by my favorite wine stewart (who really knows my taste and has never missed yet). So there you have it. We will definitely visit again and if you ever think about selling to retail operations in the Kansas City area, please let us know where your wines will be. Jeff & Felicia Eagle
