Comments I spent a great time on Satuday with all of the great guides.. I learned a lot of wonderful facts to share with my frequent visitors. SUCH SKILL.. and so very interesting.. Particularly, the Front door lady was fabulous. Thanks for making my visit a most rewarding experience. Comments I am a decendant of Daniel Ladd (1633) through my father. My grandson is doing a school project on William Ladd, (1778-1841)and asked me for research help since I am the family "genealogist". My search sent me here, since William is known to have died in this house. He was famously known as "The Apostle of Peace" Very interesting! I will have to visit you when I spend my summer at Lake Winni this year.

Comments My Girl Scout troop slept over last weekend (a night at the museum via Girl Scouts) and we had the most amazing visit to the Moffatt Ladd House. The staff was wonderful...so knowledgable and great with the girls. They made learning about history fun! We helped garden, got individualized tours, made marblized paper, wrote with quill pens and put on skits with their learnings. I would highly recommend it to others and I'm grateful for the experience! :)
