Comments I rescued an adorable 18 lb. Rat Terrier. I wish he was smaller as I an older and disabled, but he is so full of loving and giving I wouldn't trade him for anything. I also wish his tail wasn't docked. But I would recommend a Rat Terrier to anyone who wants a great friend and companion!!

Comments I just got a rescued rat terrier mix and want to use her for a service dog. She had a bad puppy life but she and I have bonded and she does not like to leave me. I have anxiety and Potsdam. I would like info that you have on the breed that I should no or be conserded about I got her as a chia. But she does not fit the bill.

Comments I loved seeing the pictures of your puppies! I had a toy rat terrier for 16 wonderful years, and it's been a year now since she's been gone. I adopted another great rattie (not toy) from a rescue organization, and love her very much too, but still want to get another toy rattie. My girl Gingersnap was a red & white, with the white stripe in the middle of her face. I miss her so! I would love to find another like her. She was about 8 lbs most of her life, and went up to about 10 when she was old and not running around anymore. Well, thanks for the pictures! If you know where I might find another one like my Gingee, please let me know.

Congested heart failure, we think she was about 15, God I miss her so so much, tearing my heart strings, since I'm retired, I have all the time in the world to love and train a new baby, I have 1 Chihuahua left, he's 11, but still spunky,an very lovable, I live in Indianapolis, so I can visit anytime, thank you very much!!!
