i have always liked the classics iv and have recently bought the cds' atmospherics and the legendary master series from amazon. i still don't have a couple of the songs such as free and a few of the others. the first albums i bought when i was 19 was sgt. peppers by the beatles, then stormy and traces. that is how much i think of your groups music then and now thanks for your time. don albers. time: 2009-05-24 22:25:19

I had the privilege of seeing Dennis Yost, and his lovely wife at the Fraze Pavillion last summer. I worked there, and they were so kind to take the time to talk to me. I was so happy to see Dennis at back stage and looking so forward to hearing they were planning on making a come back possibly in gospel music. I was heart broken in December when I heard of his passing. I was truly one of his biggest fans. Thanks to his wife and friends for taking time to talk to me. I have been listening to the Classics IV since I was in college in the early 90s. I was so hoping to get an opportunity to hear Dennis sing in person and just learned of his death. Mrs. Yost, your husband's music and that of the band is so wonderful and still a constant as my musical tastes change. I so enjoy the music and wish to pass on my most sincere condolences. My daughter drove me 100 miles to watch your show in Georgetown IL last night for my B-day. The show was GREAT!!! We decided would drive 200 miles if you get this close to us again. About the gospel comback he had hoped to do. I wonder if he got a chance to record any gospel stuff. That would've been so cool. If he did record any, sure hope it get's releassed. My darling hubby Mike passed on from a heart attack March 3, 2009 & went home to heaven. I know he has met Dennis up there. Rest in Peace. I loved Dennis Yost's voice. He always seemed to be wearing his heart on his sleeve. Dennis was very good reading and understanding a lyric. I still the listen to the recordings and have shared them with my children. I'm sorry that I was never able to see one of his concerts, but his voice and music will be heard forever.
