Comments Wonderful mosque... *Just a suggestion* - The foundation should try to provide a section for the sisters to pray. I think most of the sisters in our community would prefer to go to our local mosque rather than travel elsewhere to pray and be educated in Islam. {ex: ICPC(Islamic Center of Passaic County)}

Comments Assalamu alaykum to the directors, members, and Imam of the masjid: I would like to plz request to u brothers n uncles to open masjid to us sisters during Ramadan Tarawee Prayers. Many years ago, the space was an issue, but Alhamdulillah, this masjid has made huge expansions. I know there is already available a separate enterance and section which could be arranged for the sisters. While we have a big enough masjid in the heart of downtown, unfortunately many Bengali sisters who want to pray in jamaath are forced to go to the Russian masjid in Wayne,(more than 2 rows are made of Bengali women in that masjid during tarwee) and many more including myself go ICPC masjid near Elmwood Park which completes reciting the entire Quran in tarawee. It is unfortunate that my husband has to make a choice whether to go with me, or go with his peers to downtown. Islam is a religion which strenthens family bonds, not seperates it. Please follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad saw. and "Do not prevent the women from going to the masjid.", in

Comments Plz watch this short clip: http://www.youtube.comI/watch?v=jlyq-PjNJlk My previous comment got cut off due to length, but i was saying that in the sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w we see that he even accomodated the mothers of small crying children in the masjid, by shortening the recitation or ruku. He s.a.w did not order them to not come back. If it was 'haram' for women to b in masjid, then there would not be thousands of masjid all over the world having woman's section. While it is true that praying at home is better for women, it is also true praying in masjid in jamaath and hearing the entire Quran during tarawee is much better than not praying at home due to lazyness, sleepiness,etc..just like people go to library to study, many women also feel the need to go to masjid, so they feel more spiritual and concentrate on prayer, also they want to hear more Quran, as they may not memorized many surahs..My intention is not to offend anyone, but plz brothers, this is a serious issue to consider.. Why should us women have to travel far
