I am 11 years old and my Gramps and Mai Yai have a colony of PM here in Fort Worth. My dad put up our first house a few days ago and I am watching for some to come to our new house. My Gramps says do not let those sparrows chase the Purple Martins away or hurt them so I am keeping my eyes out for these birds too. I like your website it has a lot of good information and photos of Ms Fregoe. I came to your Marty Party with my Gramps and had a very nice time. Bye bye

I put up a PM house in the backyard of a friend of mine in Wichita Falls, Tx. back in Feb pf this year. I had 2 young PM stop by everyday starting in April.. I didn't have any building nest.. but now I don't see them anymore? Have they already migrated back .. it is only 8/15/10?

We installed a Purple Martin house this year for the first time as I saw many Martin houses when I was living in Georgia and found them very interesting. We have attracted 3 Martins this past week and I am attempting to learn how to make a good landlord to help them raise their young.
