Comments We were in Reading a few weeks ago visiting friends & they took us up to the Pagoda. It was our first visit & boy were we impressed. You have done such a great job in preserving this landmark.

Comments Enjoy viewing the web cam and the time-lapse on a daily basis from Rome NY. I grew up in the 500 block of South 17th street in East Reading and the on-line view of the city flashes me back to my youth. We visit Reading every October and always drive up Duyrea Drive to go by the Pagoda. I have an impressive sunset pic I got off the web cam this past winter, and have it as my background on the desktops. Kinda makes one homesick to see the view of "Good ol Reading". Thanks to the web cams, a home grown boy can enjoy a daily look back, and enjoy!

Comments I have the fondest memories of the Pagoda from my childhood. Probably in the late 40s to early 50s, our family visited the Pagoda many times on our "Sunday drives" out of the city (Philadelphia). I remember it vividly and have only today written a story on Facebook about it. I write weekly of my memories on the group page from our radio show entitled "Remember When". We are a call-in talk show that is broadcast every Saturday night at 11 p.m. on Talk Radio 1210 AM,CBS in Philadelphia, and all we talk about are "The good old days". Thank you for maintaining the integrity of the Pagoda. The landmark is a "must see" when one visits Reading, and now I plan to take our grandchildren there to see what their Mommom was so excited about all those years ago, and has home movies of too! And the children's hand-held gizmos will be left at home!!

Comments I love the Pagoda. Ever since I was a little girl, my Nana would take me up there, and I actually walked all the way up the stairs to the bell, and I remember peeking in the key holes to the rooms. What GREAT MEMORIES!!!!!

Comments i have been to the reading pagoda with my mom and dad and we walked all 87 steps man that was alot of steps but i found every floor of the pagoda interesting cause there was alot of artifacts in cases which i found them very interesting...........

Comments I was born in Reading but my family moved to Florida when I was six. My parents brought us back to visit but they have both passed now. I moved to Arkansas and haven't been home in almost 30 years. I plan on a vacation soon to try and find some of my family. I have lost contact with the Morgan and Schriver families. I loved finding a picture of the pagoda!!
