Dear Rose & Chuck: Saludos!/Greetings! I am so pleased to send you this greeting.... you have always been such a BIG part of our work. I had a conversation yesterday with Pamela Wiseman, Executive Director of NM Coalition Against DV and told them about GVI. NMCADV is exploring how to build capacity and address and respond to DV utilizing best practice. In particular they were looking to increase law enforcement training from 60 minutes to 90 minutes!! I said, there is a better way... We need to institutionalize CCR in every community statewide, have NMCADV provide the technical assistance & training and model it after GVI. Let's have GVI come and do a training DV providers statewide and she agrees. Specifically, they want to propose that you be the main trainers at the Advocacy in Action Conference done annually in March/April for the NM Crime Victims Reparation Commission or that NMCADV sponsor GVI to NM.
