We normally stay at another location, but because of double booking, we were sent here and I couldn't have been any happier! The interior of this house has a fun, modern cabin decor with flatscreen tv's in every room. The house was very clean and a fun place to have a large group gather for the weekend!. The location was awesome too. It was just a quick, short walk to the river and to the Whitewater amphitheater! We definitely liked that there was a code and not a key to open the house. Made it more convenient than worrying about the possibility of losing them! Our group had the best weekend ever at the Goat house and we can't wait to book again!

Ron, My roommate, said she was able to meet you Sunday, sorry I was not able to since I had already left! I absolutely loved the place, as well as the whole group did. We have made it a tradition to go down for at least one concert a year and rent a cabin for the past 3 years. This was by far the best place to accommodate the size of group we always have AND be walking distance to the concert. That is my main thing when I start looking for place to rent each year, I don’t want anyone driving once we get there to be safe. The first year we stayed over a mile away and had to drive to tube the river as well as to the concert (and then get stuck in the awful traffic afterwards)! I am really hoping you keep us in mind next summer because we unanimously agreed we definitely want to come back down for Girltalk AND Ghostland next year and I would love to rent your place again for both those weekends. I will be watching the calendar early next year for when these concerts are announced and will get in touch with you then!

Had a wonderful stay, loved the decor! Had every thing you need , including an assortment of sun glasses and caps! How cool is that! Great location. Michelle is so nice and helpful...the owners are great. Can't imagine going there again and staying any where else!

We stayed at the Goat House for a girls weekend July 2013. The pictures on this website DO NOT do the property justice! The showers are all really nice, the kitchen is spacious and the living area is gorgeous. There are a lot of creative decorative pieces and artwork that really add to the charm of this place. The propery is also situated right on the river. Its not direct river access but it took us 3 minutes to get to put in and less that that to get off and get back home (the Goat house is located at the end of the Horseshoe!). We were very grateful not to have to drive :). The property is pretty quite at night except for the Whitewater amphitheater holding concerts but the noise stopped around 9:45. We actually enjoyed being able to hear the concert from the back porch! Mr. Taylor, the owner and decorator, is the most laid back and respectful owner I have ever had the pleasure to work with. My family and friends stayed at The Old Goat House July 26th-30th 2013. This house is perfect lots of space inside and a huge nice yard to hang out and grill, have a few beers and let the kids play. My husband and I were actually married on the morning of the 27th near the river at The Old Goat House, it was perfect. After we said I do we headed to float the river! Ron and Mark were very easy to work with and helped make our stay at The Old Goat House amazing. My family and friends love New Braunfels; floating the river, schlitterbahn, or just relaxing The Old Goat house is the perfect house and location to enjoy it all! Jose & Jennifer Reyes and family.

This house is amazing. It has all the amenities you could want or need. The location is very convenient. You are literally withing walking distance of the river. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to have a unique and amazing time at the river.

We had a wonderful memorial weekend, the atmosphere was wonderful. we would strongly recommend it to any one it was great. Everyone is friendly and stores and tubing are right around the corner. The live music everyday was awesome. We look forward of doing it all over again . thanks Ron!!!!! :-)

I had the pleasure of staying in the Lucky Goat house. It was absolutely amazing. The view was breath taking!! We will be coming back for sure! We felt like we were at a luxury 5 star hotel. All our outdoor activites (tubing and concert) were conviently in walking distance. I highly recommend staying here!

My group absolutely loved the Lucky Goat House! The location was amazing. Walking distance to the best river floating/tubing in Texas, White Water Ampitheatre, and a great little bar called Daisy Dukes! The house was perfect for our large group. All the house amenities were awesome! Sunrise out on the wraparound porch with a view overlooking the river was on point!!! Can't wait to book for next summer! Might even sneak in a weekend over the winter just to relax! Can't recommend highly enough!
