A message for the family. Aunt Jody was always very wonderful to our family. I will miss her very much. I don’t think there could be a nicer woman. Always had something nice to say and never had a bad thought for anyone. She will be missed by all that knew her. A truly wonderful woman.

A message for the family. We wanted so much to come to the services but it just wasn't possible. Jody was very dear to us. We enjoyed seeing her and Clarence at the reunion last summer; that is a special final memory. We are with you in our thoughts. Paul and Judith

A message for the family. Growing up in St. Louis, Uncle Clarence and Aunt Jody were only about two blocks away. I remember the many visits that we made to her house for dinner, the steep staircase to get up to the second story, and the immaculate house that she kept. Even with six of us Smith kids running around the house creating chaos, I don't remember ever hearing a complaint or seeing her get upset. As a young child, it didn't cross my mind. But as I got older, I realized what a kind and classy lady she was. I left for the Navy at 18 and subsequently settled in San Diego, but every trip I made back to St. Louis, Uncle Clarence & Aunt Jody always made it a point to come and see me. I will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to Uncle Clarence, Karen Harshbarger and family.
