Comments This site is dedicated to the children who have gone before us, and ALL parents and families grieving the loss of a child, without regard to age or cause. I funded this site to honor the memory of my precious son, Maximilian Alexander Sanchez I. His new website will be up by Christmas. That url is www.maximiliansanchez.com . There will be video clips of Max there, poems and memories from family members and close friends, and family pictures. There will be a place for his friends to write their memories and/or post photos (that will be sent to me prior to uploading). Please take a look after Christmas, and sign his guest book. Comments Part 2 of my post (It cut off before I was done!) Let me begin with the last sentence from the earlier post- Though our children are no longer with us physically, their "heartprints" as Maggie calls them will remain with us forever. As long as we remember, they live. Whenever I find myself thinking "my son died", I remember words of wisdom from my MIL, who also lost a son, and I remind myself that "my son lived". For any grieving parent or family seeking assistance and support, I highly recommend The Compassionate Friends and Groww's Heavenly Angels branch. We have links on this site to both. To my children and husband, thank you for being here for me. For us being here for one another. I would be lost without you. Comments Our lives were forever changed on 4/11/02 when our Son, Mathew Kirk Adkins was carjacked & murdered. He was a wonderful, dedicated & loyal Son,Brother,Husband,Coach, Friend & most of all he was the Father of 2 beautiful children. He gave all he had to give to the under privileged youth of our city including his life. He was so trusting he never had a clue he was being stalked in the days before. I know he us up there coaching all the little ones. Matt loved life as well as anyone & would have done anything for anyone..He would have walked to the end of the earth if he thought it would touch a life, make an impact in a positive way. OUR Loss is heavens Gain! WE'll Miss you forever, BABY Boy. I don't know how i would have made it through these last 6 months without the caring support of the Groww site. Comments My name is Robert and my mother is mauimama, the person who is running the balloon release along with maxzmom and though I am not as involved in this event as I should be, I think it is a spectacular idea. I think everyone who has lost a loved one should get involved in this. We lost our beloved Michael on January 12, 2002 and the struggle to overcome each day is massive. Had it not been for GROWW, my mother would not be as strong as she is today. Dec 3 is the day that this event unfolds and come rain or shine, we are going to do it. We miss our Mikey heavily.
