Comments When Jesus resurrected who did he first appear to. A Woman Mary of Magdala. I ask you, would Jesus do this if women were as second rate as the church tries to make them out to be. The cover up tht has gone on for nearly 200 years is about to collapse, and the truth will out about the 12 women disciples that accompanied the 12 men. The Nag Hamadi texts will substantiate this, and God's truth will not be hidden for much longer. In the meantime Women take heart that you fight for recognition in the clergy is not going unheard. Persevere for there are many more offering prayers for you than you think. Yours in the love of God +Frank Australia

Comments ¿QUIÉN SE ATREVE A IGNORAR LA HISTORIA DE "LAS MADRES DE LA IGLESIA"?

Comments I think that if Jesus really wanted Women Priests, he would have chosen 12 women apostles instead of 12 men apostles, and if that were so, then he would have more than likely chose His mother Mary and Mary Magdalene as His first picks for women apostles to spread the Gospel. We all know that the 12 men apostles were specifically chosen and not 12 women by the Lord, Jesus. We must respect Jesus' authority on the matter of men only saying Mass, because the priest and not priestesses represent Christ when reinacting Calvary and the consecration of His Body, Soul, and Divinity in rememberance of Him until His return. Please Stop dividing this beautiful Mystical Body of Christ and let His Church be purified by ridding itself of the 1% of pedifile priests. Did you know that other denominations other than Catholic have unmarried and married pastors that are pedifiles and go unreported. The Holy Catholic Church needs our unity and one in the spirit of prayer for more priests that are Jesus called men to feed His sheep and His lamb

Comments I think that if Jesus really wanted Women Priests, he would have picked 12 women apostles instead of 12 men apostles, and if that were so then he would have chosen His mother Mary and Mary Magdalene as His first picks. This site is undermining the Authority of the Holy Spirit and the Magistarium of the Church. If you want women priests and deacons, go join all the other denominations of Protest ants and excommunicate yourselves like Martin Luther did. Stop dividing this Mystical Body of Christ by your proposed out of the mind doctrines. We have enough problems within the Church to deal with because of all the negativity against our Holy Catholic Church. Next, you will be wanting women lesbian priests and on and on... Jesus was correct in choosing 12 men! Do not undermine His authority and His Church. Anita

Comments Great site!!! I wonder though, why the women, who feel called to priesthood can not leave the catholic church and preach the Gospel in other churches?

Comments Well, if "catholics" aren't happy with the celibate male priest-hood they can always change to another denomination instead of trying to change what is already fine.

Comments As a priest, I very aware that my ordination is not something that I have earned as a right. It is a participation in very priesthood of Christ, which He has entrusted to His Church. To defy the very one who bestows this gift just does not make sense to me. What ever happened to humility? Disobedience is a sure sign that you are way off track.

Comments And what the heck is 'Catholic sense'? Where do you come up with this stuff? If Mary wished for women to be priests she has had many times to share that what with all of her apparitions, Lourdes, Fatima, Knock, Guadaloupe, but she has never said anything, Unless people don't people in the glaring evidence for those as there is for the glaring evidence against women priests. I present to you the following. Priesthood is partially based in tradition, true, and Jesus did choose all males as his disiples but that was not because of the times. He did not care at all about the social norms of his times. He talked to leapers, spoke out against men divorcing their wives, taked to the 'unclean' Samaritan woman. Why would he have cared about giving women the priesthood if he wanted to? When Judas rejected his priesthood, the disciples had to choose another to replace him, no females were considered, even though there were many loyal followers, among them the Blessed Mother, who was the sinless Mother of God. SHE was more qualifie

Comments I ran into this site when I learned about Foundation Housetop. I really do not understand why women cannot be ordained priests, especially so since Vatican II has called us to shift our attention from the church to the biblical reality of Gods Kingdom as the deepest foundation for the mission we Christians have in this world. - Thanks for your resourceful site!

Comments The comments that the vocation of motherhood is for women and priesthood, for men, while true, overlooks the fact that moptherhood requires the participation of loving men. Priesthood has yet to be blessed with the participation of loving women. Also, every belief about this issue should be tested by bringing it to the next step e.g. if women cannot be ordained because ". . . they bear no nautural resemblance to Christ . . .," as the Vatican would have us swallow, then how can they be baptized into Him? It seems that while the Bishops of Rome have claimed an unwavering adherence to truth, they've really been contrdicting themselves.

Comments I have been in ministry for 31 years now, 17 of which has been in the pastorate. Our jurisdiction is small and part of the Independent Catholic movement. We are pro-woman, pro-life, pro-Scriptures and pro-Christ in that we are part of the Convergence Movement of Christianity. We stress the use of the Sacramental to bring healing through 12 Steps Christian Recovery as we especially minister to people hurting from sexual and substance abuse. We support the movement in the Roman Catholic Church for ordination being open to women who have been called by Christ. We also urge women who have a vocation to prepare to minister not only through study, but through much prayer and service. If anyone would like to hear about our particular jurisdiction, please click on to http://pastor-t.tripod.com/cclc God bless you.

We need to wake up our Church leaders!
