Comments Hallo, I am a distant relative of Christ Kemle on my mother's side (Theresia Bender , nee Kratz). My family visited Sheboygan Wisconsin in 1963? and were given a tour of the Kohler plant where C. Kemle worked. I met Peggy and Barbara, two of his grandchildren. But as often happens, we did not stay in touch. My parents were born and married in Mramorak, Yugoslavia, and of course the war changed everything. Some of my relatives went to Baden-Wuertemberg, where our ancestors are from. My family and others emigrated to Austria. Some of use came to Lancaster, Pennsylvania,(Amish country) sponsored by the Lutheran World Federation as WW II refugees. I got on this link because the group I am a member of, Washington Saengerbund, is thinking of traveling to Milwaukee WI in 2013 for the Saengerfest (More than drinking, ethnic Germans like to sing) and I remembered our family trip to Sheboygan and Milwaukee, and the possibility of reconnecting with distant relatives. Best wishes to the Kemle larger family.

Comments The "Kiemle" that I have a record for is Friedrich Kiemle my Great-Great-Grandfather, born in Beihingen, Germany on April 24, 1847. He died on December 11, 1909 in Bosnien, Yugoslavia. His wife was Christine Kayser also born in Beihingen on January 18, 1846. She passed on April 15, 1885. I obtained this information from relatives in Germany when we visited my uncle in Neunkirchen. I am related to Michael who must be my cousins Walter or Willy Kiemle's son.
