Comments I have visited Eritrea recently. Some of what was mentioned in the article was true from my point of view. Although, it is written in a sensationalist style to impress it's ideas on the reader. I think the government of Eritrea has worked hard and done the best that it can with the little resources it has. But I think it needs to remember that they agreed on holding elections, adhering to a legal system and following a constitution. Leaders around the world gradually lose touch with their people the longer they are in positions of power. I think they have done their best, it's now time for them to step down and let someone else have a try.

Comments Obama's speech was well received and I truly think it made a difference between to show that we care and we want a good relationship. We have to start somewhere and open up our arms. We can't just keep talking about it and don't take action. At least he was now in the history the first President to make the first step and ask for having a friendship and understanding........whatever comes after this is now in the hands of the other side. Comments Hey Gowhara! It is amazing that you were able to get these pictures from the tv! The one of the crowds in D.C., with a faint image of Obama superimposed on it was particularly interesting. Obama looked kind of like a ghost there, and I thought it was a neat picture because I think it really captures the moment: milllions of people all overcome with Obama's spirit.

Comments Gowhara, I like your name by the way. However, the report of Eritrea being the The World's biggest prison is just a ploy. There is not tangable accountability that verifies the report is accurate and verifieable. There a gentleman wrote in respond to it in Sudan Tribune, he stated it right. Asking Eritreas report based on what? I think the so called western countries tries to defame any country that works hard and have leaders that are selfless and not coruptable. I believe the report is total falsification, since there is no tangible matterial for reference purposes. Gowhara Zinll Abedin wrote: I always think that the world need help. Comments Obama, I will try to respond to you. Banda! I thought you have been eliminated with DDT Kimalam Agame. Obama, The problem in the report you are talking about has been of great controversy. The reason being is that to write a report that is acceptable should provide the reader with tangable and verifiable objects. Needles to say I met so and so and questioned so and so is not acceptable fro simple reason. The ignored Banda who tries to bother people here with his savage words, can simply claim to be Eritrean. How do you verify that? What kind of methodology are they using to identify the identitiy of the interviewed? A lot can be listed but just for starters this is more than enough. And This make the report void and null.
