I attended your workshop in Clovis, CA on August 5th and, I must say, was very awe inspired with your talent and expertise. It was a very educational experience for me. I've only been teaching a short time (8 years) and now I realize how little I know about teaching. I'm the one that spoke to you about Sabrina. Very bright, but doesn't like to practice and doesn't sight read well even though she's in Alfred's level 4. She transferred to me a few years ago and has "faked" it very convincingly. I've begun using the technic you mentioned about focusing on one note per week in the music. I will stay in touch to let you know how it works out.
