The old cowboy One Sunday morning, an old cowboy entered a church just before services were to begin. Although the old man and his clothes were spotlessly clean, he wore jeans, a denim shirt and boots that were worn and ragged. In his hand he carried a worn-out old hat and an equally worn, dog-eared Bible. The church he entered was in a very upscale and exclusive part of the city. It was the largest and most beautiful church the old cowboy had ever seen. The people of the congregation were all dressed with expensive clothes and fine jewelry. As the cowboy took a seat, the others moved away from him. No one greeted, spoke to, or welcomed him. They were all appalled by his appearance and did not attempt to hide it. As the old

Comments Hope to see you in early Sept 2015. Visited Sutter Creek Visitor Center in Oct 2014. Got info for our 2015 trip. We plan to bring our daughter and 4 grandchildren to your Cowboy Campfire. We are spending a week in Placerville with family so there might be a large group of us. This will be my grand-children's first trip to the USA and the first time for them to meet the US side of the family. Your show sounds like a wonderful bit of Americana to share with them.

Comments Dear Ron and Marie- We just saw Ron on CBS Sunday Morning and were delightfully reminded of being at your remarriage at sea on the barefoot cruise in the Carribean. We are the couple from Florida and are now living in the San Juan mountains of Colorado. Of course you will probably not remember us but we plan to possibly come to Fiddletown this fall to reconnect with Bruces best friend from 3rd grade to high school. Comments I have seen the Old West Trio a couple of times, most recently last night in Camino at the "Best of the West" dinner party, and they mentioned your series, so I checked-out your web page. Do you have a mailing list from which email notifications are sent? Unfortunately, Gail and I cannot make the September 10th show (other committments), but are certainly interested in next year's series. I have lived in El Dorado County since 1985, and cannot believe I am just hearing about your place/events. From what I gleaned on the web site (nice job, by the way), it looks like a wonderful time.
