Comments What a weekend! Fabulous band, crowds of people, and old friends that I had not seen for many years. The raffle items are great - I went home with two. Great "mezzeh". Just a wonderful event. Sunday badarek with Surpazan Barsamian was superb. Congratulations to all that were involved. The Banquet was a fitting close to a wonderful weekend.

Comments The story of Tom Mooradian's time in the Soviet Union is so interesting. I had met Tom in Florida where I purchased his book. After reading the book, I could not wait to talk with him. Both my husband Mark and I think that his story would make a great movie. His book is called The Repatriate Love, Basketball, and the KGB.

Comments The first main dish called in for the Harvest Supper is jumbo baked stuffed shrimp followed by lamb stew, spinach casserole, and lucious cake. I am looking forward to a great night. Is anyone ready to challenge me to a game of tavloo?

Comments The Harvest Dinner was wonderful. Our banquet dinner consisted of:baked stuffed shrimp, eggplant casserole (wonderful - with a hint of cinnamon), bean salad, Weight Watchers chile, tossed salad, lamb stew, itch (which looked just like kheyma with meat), spinach casserole, bourma (one person addmitted to eating seven of these), apple pie, bulger pilaf, pasta casserole completed with parmasan cheese. No one left hungry. The wines were pronounced "very good". Tom Vartabedian entertained us with humorous stories from his life, and he shared some of his photographs from his forty years in photojournalism. A wonderful, warm evening.

Comments Brunch train event was wonderful. We saw people that we had not seen in years, enjoyed wonderful food, great scenery, perfect weather, cranberry harvesting, and even met new friends. Let's do this again next year.
