Comments Hello, We met last Monday as we were leaving your road onto 567. Viewed your website and it looks like if we do come up to Cobalt next year we will be camping at your site. I have no idea why I didnt research your camp before! As I told you, we metal detect the old silver mine dumps looking for artifacts and ore if we can find it. The one question I have; We like to tent camp and I see you charge 25$ per night. Do you provide showers and bathroom facilities? Thanks, Bob

Comments Hey Joe, Site looks great, awesome pictures aside from that ugly guy Barry in a few of them. I would check his tackle box if I was you. I have been fishing with him before and he isn't that good of a fisherman, he must be using TNT... Comments Hi, In the 70's my parents had a trailer across the creek from your lodge. We had a lot of memories made there. I was wondering if you have room for a slide in truck camper for a week and a spot for a 17' boat. I'd like to go back in time to old secret fishing holes. My folks used to own Medow Island and had a log cabin my dad built in the mid 40's until the dam went in. I grew up on that area of the lake. I'm 63 now.

Comments Hello Happy to See Maiden Bay open and operating.We were freinds of the late Bill Hubbard//Deceased and his wife Joan/living. I helped Bill open the camp every year for over a decade.The foundation under the main Lodge we mixed concrete and wheeled by barrow to the trench at the front of the cottage. Rolled the water tank up the hill and did all the plumbing.Does it still exist? The dining room in the big cabin I bought at an auction and donated it to the camp ,as well as aot of sweat.. Do the damn dams still exist? I sure learned to dislike Canadas national symbol.. Wish you well. Many fond memories john quinlan and katie quinlan
