Our boys had an amazing day of art, music, hiking, and sunshine today at the Imagine-a-Day Field Trip with Summit Elementary School. They both came home excited and eager to share all of their experiences. Thank you, Imagine A Day Foundation, for all your organization and support of this field trip (in memory of Courtney Bella). Peace, The Bartelt Family

Courtney's poem was read this week at a Victim Impact Meeting in Fond du Lac. The poem was read by Judge Grimm before the three speakers spoke. I wrote down the name of the Poem and looked it up online today. Courtney's photo on the website is precious and so candid and spontaneous. She touched my heart with her innocence. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know your family members who were killed in this accident are always in your hearts and close to you in that way. My first grandchild, Liam Anthony, lived for one hour and seven minutes after his birth. Liam will be in our hearts forever. God Bless!

What a bright and beautiful little angel. She was taken too soon, and in such a tragic way... But her memory will live on, and her poem will be shared all over. I wish her family and friends the ability to heal, and the knowledge that she's safe and sound with her mom and baby sister.

Every time there is a story about someone driving under the influence, I think of Jenn and Courtney and Sophia. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this needless, tragic loss and my hope is that we are all inspired to live in gratitude every day with those we love.

I am a mom of a currently 10 yo, 4th grader @ Summit Elementary. Every year since 5K, I have chaperoned the Summit Imagine a Day field trip & this morning, my son said, "Mom- be sure to take off work for Imagine a Day again! It's my LAST YEAR!!!" So I decided to look at your website & see what Courtney's story is all about. As a passionate MADD-WI mom...thank you! Thank you for sharing your daughter's memory to bless so many kiddos!

I went to the same school with her for a couple of years. Me and that monster that killed her had the same last name even though we weren't related, and I HATE it when people ask me if we are related... Courtny was so cute... and it made me really depressed when I heard... I felt so horrified about her mothers death as well... and her unborn childs death. It was sad to know that her new husbands new life was ruined before it even really started... and to Courtney's Dad and Brother.

I just returned from the "Imagine a Day" trip to Lapham Peak with my 1st grade son from Summit Elementary. It was such an amazing day and I am so happy and grateful to have shared it with my child. My thoughts go out to your family, enduring such a tragedy must be so difficult. Thank you for turning your tragedy into such a wonderful thing, I cherish my children even more after hearing of stories like yours. God Bless.
