Comments Hello Buck and Diane, The Beat Tom and Bill beat cancer annual event for 2012 will be held on Friday May 11th. I am contacting you to ask that you please consider donating a gift certificate to help raise funds for families dealing with cancer. Every year I enter a "You Da' Man" Basket to be raffled off at the event. To date, my basket has been one of the top 10 fund rasing baskets. The You Da Man basket ususally contains items that appeal to men. With fathers day shortly after the event many men and women purchase tickets to win the basket. Thank you in advance for any consideration. I always put a poster in front of my basket to show which businesses gave toward the basket. Comments Hi Friends of the Pit Stop trying to get the word out on some things happening at the Pit Stop. On THIRSTY THURSDAY August 12 we will be featuring the LIVE MUSIC OF THE SWINGING STANDARDS beginning at 7:30. They guarantee you will know the music and sing and dance along. Also, we are beginning to build our "banquet room" It will be finished by the end of October and already have a few booking so please keep us in mind. Comments My wife and I stopped in tonight for the first time. We cannot say enough about our pleasant experience. First, the beer was cold and the lake perch dinner was extremely tasty. Your staff is beyond compare. Dawn was our waitress and was very apologetic when our dinner took a little long coming out. We don't care. It's not McDonald's. Jonathan, our busboy, was just the nicest young man. I have worked in the restaurant business for 25 years, as a second job. I know what hard work it can be. It can also be a great experience. Dawn and Jonathan showed us that they enjoyed their work. They treated us like old friends. Jonathan even asked us to please come back. He is very much the salesman. Jonathan, we will be back, I assure you. We will also tell all our friends. Thanks for making our night out, after along day of babysitting grandchildren, a pleasant evening. Comments Just discovered Buck's about a month or so ago. What a nice place. It reminds me of the "Family Bars" in northern Minnesota. Good food, good beer and some very good people. The place is clean and it has a very good menu. Last week I met Buck for the first time. Talked to him for 10 minutes and by the time we finished talking he seemed like he is an old family friend.
