Dennis Yost and the Classics IV is one of my favorite all-time bands. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten as one of the best male vocalists and unique bands with those great hits. After looking up The Classics IV on the internet, I was very sad to hear of Dennis Yost's passing. I remember the Classics IV when I was growing up. During my adolescent years, I grew up with 70'sand 80's music. Recently, I have been listening to more of the 60's music. The Classics IV is at the top of my list along many great bands. I am a AVM survivor. AVMs occur in 1% of the population. They can happen anywhere in the body. If they occur in the brain they will tell you probably will not make it. Sometimes doctors are wrong. I just had the pleasure of seeing the Classics IV in concert down here in South Florida and I have to tip my hat to the Tom Garrett and the guys. What a wonderful show it was. I loved hearing all of the songs, new and old. The old ones brought me back to those wonderful innocent days of the late '60s and early '70s when I heard the Classic IV songs for the first time and the new tunes were just fabulous. Tom is a showman extraordinaire and the guys in the band are top flight musicians. What a show! If you get a chance to see the Classics IV, you must. I can't heap enough praise on the group except to say, "Thanks guys for a wonderful evening of memorable music."
