Comments Hi, hope everything is well! I met you in person in the artists' venue on Sat. around the Jackson Square fences. The idea for the art sale and silent auction, along with your biz card was given to Father Maestri for his review. My name is Darlene and I told you about an event to raise funds for the Bishop Perry Community Center located 1 block from Frenchmen, in the Marigny area. In case I did not mention to you, you are welcome to stop in and have a tour of the building any day Mon-Fri from 9am to 3:30 pm. It closes at 4pm. You are also welcome to participate in a 30 min. Mass same days from 12 to 12:30, and you could then meet Father Maestri, who personally bought this former school as his dream to have resources for this community. There is a total of 8 former classrooms, and 2 of them, on 2nd floor, are now a recently dedicated library with 2 computers for the public to use. The other 2 on the 2nd floor are a storage room and an active part-time classroom used for teaching GED, English and other s

Comments My husband and I visited New Orleans in 2011, right before Jeni Genter died. We had just begun a long road trip, and foolishly passed up the opportunity to purchase Jeni's "field of dreams" painting. We had no room to store it in our small car, and purchased a smaller print instead. We sorely regret that we did not purchase the original painting and I wondered if you knew if it was still available or perhaps someway I could contact her family to ask.
