Comments We stayed at the Goat House for a girls weekend July 2013. The pictures on this website DO NOT do the property justice! The showers are all really nice, the kitchen is spacious and the living area is gorgeous. There are a lot of creative decorative pieces and artwork that really add to the charm of this place. The propery is also situated right on the river. Its not direct river access but it took us 3 minutes to get to put in and less that that to get off and get back home (the Goat house is located at the end of the Horseshoe!). We were very grateful not to have to drive :). The property is pretty quite at night except for the Whitewater amphitheater holding concerts but the noise stopped around 9:45. We actually enjoyed being able to hear the concert from the back porch! Mr. Taylor, the owner and decorator, is the most laid back and respectful owner I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Even if we needed something or had a concern, he offered whatever assistance we needed or wanted! I would go back simply for the se
