Comments What’s happening? It’s a real good thing that NICMAR is doing for the youth; it gives them a positive outlet. It allows the youth to see that there is life beyond hanging out on the corner with your pants sagging. It disgusts me when I come home and see youth wasting their lives away. When you try to encourage a lot of youth these days they take it as criticism or conviction. They don’t see the potential that they possess so they remain in that comfort state of mind. Sometimes I think they’re afraid of being successful. With NICMAR a lot of these kids will be able to continue their success at the next level. Most importantly, these kids will get a higher education; something that may not have been in their plans before. I commend you and NICMAR for all of your efforts, keep doing your thing!! My brother and I will be down on this Friday, we will definitely swing by the Rec to check out the tournament. I won’t be able to make the 11:00 game, but hopefully I will get to see you guys play later on. TAKE CARE!!
