Comments Happy Valley is best known as the home of Penn State’s Nittany Lions, but it should be equally famous for giving shelter to the multi-talented singer, blues-guitarist, composer John Edwin Phelps, whose CDs (“Blues Day Avenue” and “Livin’ in a Dream”) and occasional live concerts qualify him as the one of the best musicians in the business. Why Central Pennsylvania radio stations aren’t playing his music on a daily basis is surely a profound mystery. His songs are musical gems and deserve to be widely heard.
