Comments I am the Pits and Quarries Engineer for the Southwest Region (SWR) of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). Part of the SWR of the WSDOT's area of responsibility are the SR 101, SR 401, and SR 4 roadway corridors. All of these roadways have sections that are prone to roadway slides during the yearly wet weather season. WSDOT's current pisposal sites are all getting very full. Therefore, WSDOT Maint. crews are running out sites to dispose of slide and other maintenance debris. WSDOT is in the process of trying to locate new disposal sites to possibly purchase. The areas that will fill WSDOT's needs are as follows: - SR 401 entire length - SR 4 west of KM Summit (mile post 22.3) - SR 101 south of Mile Post 35 Any assistance in helping WSDOT locate new roadway debris disposal sites will be greatly appreciated.
