I, remembering the Burrville Cider Mill back in the day when it was owned by Homer Rebb; he made the best cider ever ... not the 'watered-down' version on the market today. I recall being taken on a tour throughout the building, the smell of apple mash still lingers in my mind. We would always buy many gallon at the end of season so as to have that great autumn cider during the harsh winters of the north country. Now that I have moved back to northern new York, I must begin anew this tradition. Thanks to the owners of late for continuing this great tradition ... with your addition of homemade 'fried cakes', that aroma has burned its memory in my mind as well. LOVE apple cider!
