Comments I am new to Heber and I am really excited about this new Aquatics Center, going to visit tonight, and get a membership, being from the DFW Metro this is awesome. I love Sandy Beach, but don't charge for such a wonderful thing, I can't wait to take my grandson there next week on his visit from the city life, he is going to be ecstatic.....=)

Comments Today I read in the paper what I've been fearing and predicting - the parks and recreation director, Mr. Lee, is proposing a daily use fee to swim at Sandy Beach. What a shame. The Corp charges to swim in the rec areas, and now this. Nowhere left to swim for the local children - real "family friendly". Actually, I wonder if this is even legal? Don't we pay taxes for our parks? What's next? Perhaps a playground fee at Spring Park?
