Comments My Siler connection starts with Pleikard-Phillip-James L.-Solomon-Jesse R. Octavious- William Vernon and then myself.Jesse R. and three of his cousin left Siler City and came west and settled in aplace that is called silerton tn and all raised families here.

Comments Hello my name is Tiffany Ashworth and I am a descendant of Plikard's son Jacob O Siler's son Burgess's sons James Madison and William Henry Harrison. Both of my Great Grandparents were Leslie Siler and Pearl Siler, they were 1st cousins and they married each other. Hiram Tye married Rachel Siler who is the daughter of John Wesley Siler who is the son of Jacob O Siler. It is very interesting to find out about my family history. I was just wondering if anyone may have any information on my Great Great Grandparents William Henry Harrison and Martha Tye that may help me in my search. Thank you so much.

Comments My fourth-great grandaunt, Harriet Dorothy Patton (1798-1872) married Jesse Richardson Siler (1793-1876). She is a sister of Mary Patton (1794-1853) who married James McConnell Smith (1787-1856), the first mayor of Asheville, NC. I descend from their son, Jesse Siler Smith (1821-1870), who was named for Jesse Richardson Siler. Rick
