Comments This issue is so beautifully presented. Love the new format and the pics of Birmingham make you want to explore and try. Have already been to Libby's to dream of what I want to buy and just to look at all the improvements and additions she has made...plus, the added bonus of asking her 'those questions'. How wonderful! Also, Mr. Engel's honor is so long overdue. He has been a Birmigham Patron of 'almost everything Birmingham' for years. Kudos to he and Mrs. Engel! So many of the other features I touched on; like Noah's Wife author T.Thorne and her great project in Pelham. Need more time to digest. Very exciting issue - Spring is in the air...FINALLY, 'course w/that comes pollen but as the saying goes "this too will pass". You know the "Old folks always call Spring - the greening of America"; in particular for us B'ham. So enjoyed this issue - not completed yet tho. MG

Comments Excellent issue. Loved the opening shot of various B'ham. You know, we live in a very beautiful 'Magic City'. Also, we are so fortunate to either be first, the largest and/or have the best in re citizens participation; such as Martin Luther King, Our Veterans Day Parade, Our Model Award winning schools for the gifted students and of course the wonderful Medical Facility in the heart of the City. Can you tell I'm City Proud? Really enjoy the EastLake look back; won't be long before there will be a similar 'look ahead' at the rate it's going. Thank you for a very enjoyable hour. Even enjoy your ads - very creative and informative, sometimes lacking.

Comments I'm so sorry I missed the Noah's Wife signing. Teresa looks wonderful and I am so proud for her. It sure looked like everyone was enjoying themselves. The Naked Art Gallery looks like a very fun place to go. I am curious about the eat, shop dates tho. I also think that would be fun. I have driven down 2nd Ave North and am so impressed. Will be stopping next time to check things out. So glad to see this new issue up - you know I will be back.

Comments "What's on second" FYI: I spent my formidable years (1934-1945) at Tharpe's Lunch Room, 2320 2nd Avenue. What a slice of history !!! That section of Birmingham was known as "scratch ankle". The Farmers Market, source of most of our customers, was where the Post Office is now.

Comments What an absolutely wonderful issue! I have to go to The Waterfall for lunch and also to the Above Bar at the Redmont. The pictures this month are breathtaking and the stories that are always good, have something extra this time. Altho I have to say sometimes they make me jealous 'cause I'm not there having fun. Libby's Plant Odyssy is such a treat - just to look and dream and maybe buy several. I have found that the ones I get there spread wider, grow taller and bloom better than any I get anywhere else - they make me smile, sometimes year after year, after all isn't that what plants are for? Will be back - have lots more to catch up on.
