My connections with the city of Mysore are deep-rooted. Mysore always brings a lump in my throat because it reminds me so much of my mother. The smell of Jasmine, sandalwood, masal dosa, gulmohar trees in full bloom, Chamundi hills etc. make it such a fascinating place that I never miss my annual trip to Mysore. Two of my sisters still reside here.

I was born and brought up in Mysore, and will probably retire there. I am very fond of Mysore and never considered I am disconnected (I read Star of Mysore daily!).
