I've bee a Tarheel since the first time I saw them on TV in the 60s. We didn't get to watch much TV, but when the HEELS played we all were in front of the TV. My oldest son, Jeremy, is a born TARHEEL but went to school at the University of South Carolina. He is a parts manager for Taylor BMW in Augusta, GA. My youngest son, Jarrod, went to the Carolina basketball camp two years when Coach Smith was the coach. He still has the photo of Coach Smith, Coach Guthridge and Jarrod sitting together at the camp. He attended Campbell University and is now a Rescue Swimmer in the U.S. Navy. He currently is in Bahrain. We are dedicated TARHEEL fans. We are proud that Coach Williams is continuing the Carolina way. GO HEELS!!

Although I am a 2001 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I have not had the opportunity to go to the museum. It is with great anticipation that I await tomorrow when I will be taking my daughter and husband to the exhibition game and visiting the museum with them. I think this is a great way to spend an afternoon. My daughter is already a die hard Carolina Tarheel fan and is not afriad to say it!!! I did something right, I guess.

My father raised me to be a Tar Heel. While life led the family away from the Carolinas, it did not affect the love I will forever have for the university and its basketball program. What Coach Smith built here is something special, and the way Coach Williams is continuing that tradition today makes my heart beam with pride. Thanks to everyone who has played a role in making Carolina Basketball what it is and to those who made this museum a reality.

Visited the Museum last year while there for Volleyball camp. Been a Tarheel fan since my kid days. It was like reliving the exciting moments. Attended the Alumi game and was able to visit the museum with my son. In 2005 he was in Fallujah, Iraq. He was so excited to visit and while there Coach Williams was entertaining a young recruit in the Museum. It was so awesome! Thank you for the glory days and 100 years of BBall!

I have always admired and respected Coach Smith for the many lives he has touched lives through the game of basketball. Coach Smith used his love, passion and respect for the game to change young men lives. Coach Smith always die to self to lift up his players and coaching staff. His spirit transcend the game to make it a life experience. He believed in God, Family and Basketball. Coach Smith basketball program uplifted the spirit around and throughoout UNC campus life and all of the sports programs. He did it over 30 years. He change communities througout the nation and the world. He changed coaching.I love Coach Smith. May God Bless Coach Dean Smith, his Family and the Tarheel Family Forever.

I am a UNC die-heart fan. I can honestly say that my closet is a sea of Carolina blue. they definitely did a great job and had a fa nominal season. I look up to a bunch of them as both student athletes and the people they are. The museum itself though makes you feel as though your really a part of Carolina basketball. Its so much information there you need more than one trip to take it all in. I really enjoyed it.

I am a HUGE UNC die-hard. I can tell you my closet is all Carolina blue. they did a great job this year and the fact that i myself as a 16 yr old teenage girl look up to most of them for a role model as student athletes and as the people they are is something to say. Meeting them was a great moment for me but the museum itself was amazing. It really made you feel apart of UNC basketball. I'm planning to go back .

I have been to Chapel Hill a number of times, but had never visited the basketball museum until this week. It was amazing. Even if someone visiting isn't a sports nut, they will enjoy the UNC museum full of unique basketball memorabilia.

I was born and raised in NC but now live in CO. I have been a diehard Tarheels Basketball fan since the 60's when Charlie Scott was there. In my humble opinion UNC is the greatest basketball program in college history. I plan to visit the museum later this month (May 09. GO TARHEELS!!!

I love the Tarheels!!!!!! I have been a huge fan as long as I can remember. Everything I own has Carolina on it!! I thought the museum was wonderful. It really has a great selection of UNC history!!!!! The national title room and march madness room are by far the best parts of the museum. I think it is a part of history that every true Tarheel fan should witness for them selves!!!!!!!! I'll be back very soon!!!!

While visiting the Carolina Basketball Museum, I felt intranced with all the history surrounding me. Being a TAR HEEL fan going on 31 years I felt honored just to be in this special place. I capped a great day even better when I followed my visit to the Carolina Basketball by attending my first basketball game at the Dean E. Smith Center( The Dean Dome). A dream come true. I am looking forward to my next visit to Blue Heaven in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Heels do have fans in OHIO. We are everywhere. GO HEELS

Still basking in the glow of the 2009 Basketball Championship. The museum reminded this Tarheel fan why he's been a fan for decades. Very Classy museum, like the program - but only for free!

I had the chance to go to the Museum yesterday with my wife and my 3 year old and 5 year old boys. All I can say is WOW! I was like a kid in a candy store. Ever since I can remember I have bled Carolina Blue and walking into this museum sent chills down my spine. Thank you to the donors that made this possible! I plan to return as soon as I can! Oh, after we left, as we were walking towards the Dean Dome, Tyler Zeller was walking by! It made my day that much better!

When I was 11 years old living in Robinsville, NC I played basketball and we were able to go to UNC to see a Basketball game. That was 1973 and I have been a tarheel ever since. I will be 47 tomarrow and have been through all the ups and downs over the years. This team is my favorite bar none. I cried last year when they lost in the tournament and was sad for many weeks after that. I'm so happy to see them doing good this year. I hope and pray they go all the way just like in 2005 when I cried after the championship game. I will miss the seniors of this team and wish them all the luck after the season is over. GO HEELS!!!

Today, when the Tarheels play the Radford Highlanders, I'll have to pull for the Heels even though I live in Radford. I've been a "HEEL" fan since 1957, when UNC played Kansas for the national title. No one gave them a chance against Chamberlain and Kansas, but Tarheel fans know what happened. The '57 trophy is at UNC. Today, they go after another title and I wish you well. "Go Heels" Obama even thinks you will win another championship.
