I have ancestors from Miltown Malbay with the names Anthony M. Malone, Mary E. Malone, James Joseph Barry, and Bridget Barry. The all immigrated to the US between 1889 and 1895. I am looking forward to visiting your pub in September!

Hello Malone's Iam the Tom Malone in Minnesota and doing family research of the Malone Family. I just the last 2 months I have tracked down my Great Grandfather's Family that lived in Miltown Malbay, Cloonbony. His name was Michael Malone and he came to the U.S. in 1874. His father Anthony Malone passed away around 1868 in Miltown Malbay. Anthony's wife Anne and 7 of her sons moved to Adelaide, Australia in the years 1878-1882. Anthony Malone should be buried in one of 2 cemeteries, Kilfarboy or Ballard. Can you be of any help finding the grave of Anthony Malone? Is there any other cemeteries in the area, Catholic faith? If interested I can get more facts for you. My brother Jim Malone is going to be in your area August of this year. By the way he is a master of 6 and 12 string guitars. I met Fintan and Mary Ann in Cogans last evening and had a good chat with them. It is lovely to meet them after a long time. Sean and Fintan and the Simpletones (with Glee Club) were in Amsterdam for the big gig and the grand tour. Sorry ill health stopped me being there. The Malones are great!! Annette

Saw the boys perform at the Gloucester City, NJ USA Shamrock Festival this past week-end. Their energetic synergy was perfection personified. Can't wait till next time!!!
