Comments Good luck to you in your marriage and thank you for the informative site. A co-worker lives in downtown Orange and told me about Chapman Chaple. I wanted a small quaint chapel, not a big church. When I walked into the chapel, I immediately didn't like the silk flowers. I have chosen to be married at the Wayfarers Chapel. It sounds like you found a beautiful place too. It is one of the most important days of our lives and we are paying enough to have a wedding and deserve to have it the way we want.

Comments Hi Ashley! I have not dealt with Bonnie but did speak with her husband one time when I was doing a slideshow of a 40 year Anniv. and he was very nice. Even said I could take their watercolor picture of the Chapel done in the 6o's that is on their website for the slide show. He was vry nice....she sounds like she's from another planet. I have been to a wedding at the Jones Victorian House in Orange and it was lovely! I'm sure you'll be very happy there. I'm sorry to hear you lost your deposits. I'll be sure to spread the word.. Nancy

Comments I went to this place and low and behold they manage the Elk Club Facility in Orange. They also manage other places to0 . So beware ! What's with the cheap fake flowers everywhere? Kind of funny. And sad that they don't have a clue how tacky it all is

Comments Thanks for sharing your nightmare. I was considering this location for my wedding site but for some strange reason I fell in love with another site that is twice the cost. Bonnie needs to remember that her customers are planning their dream wedding and at times customer service and site presentation goes hand in hand. For furture brides like me remember love the site 100% It's your ever lastly memory.

Comments i first heard about this place at a bridal show i went to. i went to go discuss the everything package and after seeing how every wedding looked the same and how the tacky all the fake stuff looked, i went elsewhere as well. they do have a good package deal with lots of things included, but who wants their most special day to look exactly like the one before? check out elks clubs! they are pretty reasonable! good luck to all you brides out there!

Comments What a shame that this didn't work out for you. Some people are just impossible to deal with. Obviously, this woman doesn't have a heart or any taste! Aren't chapels supposed to help make dreams come true? How sad for you, I'm sure you will find something more suitable and tasteful without having to deal with such a horrific woman. I truly have empathy for you and your situation. I can really appreciate the sentiment behind wanting to be married where your parents were. :( What a creep the owner is!! Best wishes for your upcoming blessed event!

Comments ewwww. I'm sorry to hear about all this. Fake flowers should be against the law for weddings! If they were removed every Sunday then why in the world wouldn't they take them down without a fee when you said you didn't want them up for a wedding? How rude! That sounds like a nightmare. I hope you have a beautiful wedding elsewhere and all the luck in the world in your new life. God bless. ~Tedi Favro

Comments It is terrible that Bonnie is in business without looking after her best interest, the client/bride. She should have given your deposit back after the way you were treated and were given no choices for your one special day. I'm so glad you voiced your opinion, good for you! Best wishes on your wedding day.

Comments Wow. I can't believe how unyielding the owner was in regards to your simple, minor requests! How unfortunate you had to deal with such an uncooperative and unprofessional person who apparently desires to make every wedding her "ideal" wedding by refusing to allow any decorative changes in the chapel. Every bride to be should be allowed to add her own personal touch in order to make her day an even better, more memorable one (no one I know would appreciate cheesy fake flowers and plants at their wedding). I hope this hasn't cast too big a shadow on what should be your happy wedding planning experience. Thank you for posting your experience. God bless and best wishes!

Comments What a crying shame Chapman University ever sold this historic site. They should be ashamed!

Comments We too are getting married this summer and CANNOT believe that it should be this difficult. This should be the best times to remember and you should have the right to enjoy every single moment of the planning as well. Many blessings for your special day and we hope that it turns out to be the day that you have dreamed of. Thank you for helping future brides! You Go Girl! Hugs, Jolynn and Dave
