Comments spinning gear, no luck at the mill wall with rooster tails. chubsucker on triangle road. two others wading there. no catches but many bites on a small crankbait near hospital bridge

Comments Started at the Falls. Water temp was 48'F and clear. The fish don't seem to be in the same position as last year in this spot. Was definitely a slower part of my day. Moved to the Mill. Fished both sides below of the higher riffle (were wall used to be) and was able to pickup fish. Used beaded salmon pink egg. Was also able to get one fish above the riffle. Agree that the fish are bigger this year. A couple fish gave a surprisingly good fight.

Comments These fish seam bigger and healthier than the ones stocked last year. My average size today 14-16 inches. Measured biggest at 18 in.

Comments The water levels were high and the water was murky. Water temp was 54'F. Initially tried the Falls but had no luck. Water was moving fast. Then went to the Mill. Caught my fish on a squirmy worm.

Comments Spinning gear, fished from 3:30 to 5:30 PM overcast, water temp was 50.1 degrees trout were hitting pink rooster tails, small spoons, and fly size crankbaits, most hit moving baits with a few coming off of bottom bouncing a small pink tube.

Comments Fished for a couple hours from the city park to the honey hole at the bend, in Creekside Nature park. Water was very low. Caught a rainbow near big log downstream from City park on a wet fly.

Comments Mostly caught on streamers (size 8 olive Woolly bugger and white zonker), size 16 pheasant tail, and even a couple fish on a size 14 elk hair caddis! Thank for all you do! Excited for another trout season where I can fish near home.
